London: Leo Cooper, 1967-1984. Hardcovers with dustjackets. 

An incredible collection of British Regimental Histories published variously under the imprints of Leo Cooper, Ltd. (53 titles), Hamish Hamilton (10 titles), or Frederick Warne ( just 1, being a revised ed). All bear the Pen & Sword Books emblem & are in a uniform size edition.

The extra book (THE QUEEN'S DRAGOON GUARDS) is not labeled as a "Famous Regiment" book, but follows format.
Its dust jacket is a full color painting, not the regimental emblem on white as are the others.

Most volumes are signed by both Horrocks & the author.
30 are signed on the book itself, 23 have at least one signature on a paste-down sticker, 11 are not signed.

Each volume presents the history of each regiment, their engagements and duties, b/w photos and illustrations throughout. Various appendices with troop info, names, regimental music etc.

CONDITION: All books are Fine to Near Fine, as are all but 3 of the dustjackets. 28 have price clipped jackets. All dustjackets in protective mylar. A very clean and mostly tight set. Some yellowing and very light wear to the ivory-white dustjackets. Previous owner's small nameplate in most volumes.

SHIPPING: Approximately 60 pounds shipping weight in 2-3 boxes. Please inquire for a quote to your destination.
